My name is Erica Hatch and many years ago, I graduated with a diploma in Recreation Therapy in anticipation of working with children and seniors to better their lives. I continued on in my pursuit of health by graduating with my degree in nursing. I have worked in a variety of areas in nursing but my areas of expertise lie in critical care and emergent nursing.
I recognized that I have an ability and inherent need to assist others to heal, specifically applying a combination blend of Eastern and Western medicines. After years of debating family medicine versus naturopathic medicine as a second career, I discovered osteopathy through a personal injury of my own. My decision was made.
I combine strong intuitive skills, an inquisitive nature, and a thorough understanding of health sciences. I am in my 5th and final year of osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy – Vancouver Campus – to obtain my diploma of osteopathic manual practitioner (DOMP).
I have lived in Airdrie for over 12 years now calling it home with my husband and my two little princesses.
When not studying or practicing you can find me at one of my children’s activities, on a running trail, at the beach or planning my next Disney vacation!
